How long have you been visiting the area?
We've been coming to the area since 2015, and in 2018 we bought a little holiday unit at Freeburgh.
What do you do for a living?
I'm a motor mechanic. I had my own business for the last 32 years, which we've just sold and moved on from.
What are your hobbies and interests?

Trail running, bike riding – that's about it.
What do you like about the area?
I love the people. I really like the locals and also the visitors – they're all pretty good. I love the terrain and the outlook and just find it very relaxing.
Where would you take visitors to showcase the area?
Mystic is good spot. Apex is a great spot for looking down at Bright. I love going to Harrietville – the bakery and the dredge hole are very good. Anywhere out at the Buckland Valley is quite pretty. I love the rail trail, especially now it goes right to Harrietville that's awesome for everyone. And Nightingales – that's a very good place to go to.
Is there anything you would change about the area?
No. I love it.
