FINAL preparations are being made for this Saturday's 77th annual Myrtleford and District Agricultural and Pastoral Society Show.
The gates will open at the Myrtleford Showgrounds from 9am, for all to celebrate what the surrounding area has to offer, with a spectacular fireworks display to end the event by 9pm.
Local produce and crafty creations will be on display at the pavilion, animal demonstrations, nursery, pet show and horse events will wow the crowds, live music, wood chopping competitions and rides are sure to make the event a great day out for the whole family.
For those wishing to participate in any of the competitions for this year's show, online entries close at 8pm on Friday night, otherwise apply and enter on Saturday morning in person.
Entries that come in on the morning of Show Day need to be entered by 8:30am.

Online entries are always preferred, but by nature of farm produce, the horticultural competition categories do still accept entries on Saturday morning.
Public entry is accessible via Conifer Street: the car park is located at the bottom of Conifer Street, then walk along the laneway to the gate that opens next to the cattle pavilion.
Tickets for the Myrtleford Show Raffle will still be available to purchase on the day.
The Art and Photography Exhibit will be held on the old basketball court.
Without a doubt, all those working behind the scenes have given it their all to provide a great show this year.
"I am absolutely looking forward to this year's show," section steward of Horticulture, Farm Produce and Bonsais, Lorraine Hughes said.
"I have previously judged at the Benalla, Wangaratta and Rutherglen shows last weekend and I will be a judge in Albury in November.
"So, I get to see a lot of horticulture throughout the region and see what people are growing in the North East."
Pavilion steward and vice president of the Myrtleford Show Committee, Liz Salmon, said this year is as different as the year before.
"One lady this year is entering five cakes and cooking entries, 15 preserves, nine horticultural entries and three farm produce offerings," she said.
"Another lady has entered 11 pieces of needlework and crafts."
Ms Salmon said the Rosewhite and district Country Women's Association cake stall will be offering up a traditional plethora of delectable cakes.
"The Dederang Golf Club will be catering to the public in the pavilion, with their usual selection of wonderful food, so don't bring your lunch on Show Day!
"The Myrtleford RSL will be selling poppy badges.
"There will also be a demonstration by the Wangaratta Hand Weavers and Spinners Inc."
