MYRTLEFORD remains the one to beat in local swimming with the second pennant of the season proving just how tough they are.
In conditions much more ideal than last week, the Myrtleford Swim Club sent 43 swimmers to Beechworth and came out of the pool victorious by nine and a half points.
Scores were tight across the day with the Beechworth, Corryong, Rutherglen, Tallangatta and Mount Beauty teams all fighting to topple the reigning champions.
