LOCAL swimmers hit the pool for the first time on Monday night as the Myrtleford Swim Club launched its season ahead of a home pennant next month.

Myrtleford will host the first of eight pennants on Sunday, December 1 and after an undefeated 2018/19 season are poised to be the sharks in the pool.

Club president Tony Cuskelly said the season is so far shaping up swimmingly.
