AFTER months of hard work and toiling away, Ovens Valley United Cricket Club have officially opened their new concrete cricket pitch at Memorial Park last Thursday.
Thanks to funding from the Alpine Shite and Cricket Victoria, the club was able to remove the old concrete pitch, which had sunk below the rest of the oval and was not up to standards, and put in a new pitch.
