MAJOR flooding is expected to hit Wangaratta in the coming days, following torrential downpours which saw significant concerns throughout the North East yesterday.
Widespread rainfall totals of between 20 and 80mm bombarded the region on Wednesday, with a further 75mm expected yesterday increasing to as much as 120mm overnight.
