GOULBURN–Murray Water (GMW) is warning customers and the public to avoid direct contact with water at Lake Eildon after high levels of blue–green algae were detected throughout the lake.
Warning signs will be posted at formal recreational areas around the lake and will remain in place while high levels of blue–green algae are present.
