POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding an alleged sexual assault on a Wangaratta V/Line train late last year.
The attack is alleged to have occurred on October 27 around 10am, on a V/Line train from Wangaratta to Southern Cross Station.
Following the incident, the offender is believed to have disembarked the train at Southern Cross and travelled on foot towards Bourke Street.
