Nug Nug armed robbery still under investigation

WANGARATTA Crime Investigation Unit detectives are continuing to investigate the armed robbery of a remote Nug Nug property in the early hours of Monday, August 19.

Three unidentified offenders, who remain at large, threatened to shoot a 52-year-old man and sole occupant of the home, and stole several items.

The occupant heard several knocks on his door at around 4:30am, only to find three armed offenders in balaclavas threatening to break in.

The occupant fled the home and the robbers gained access to the home and stole the victim’s mobile phone, snowboarding boots, snowboarding gear, around $200 of change, a torch and an electric skateboard.
