MT HOTHAM is opened for summer, with hike trails, free guided walks, tree-top tents, and much more.
With it being wildflower season, Hotham has come alive with more than 100 beautiful native flora species, making it the perfect time for a picnic under the summer sun.
For the adventurists, there is the Razorback to Mt Feathertop Walk, that starts and ends at the Diamantina Hut carpark.
This walk is 22 kilometres in distance and can take around seven hours to complete but, as the landscape transforms as you climb higher, reaching the summit well above the tree line, you will have beautiful panoramic views over the Bogong High Plains.
Until February 1, you have the chance to explore three iconic Mt Hotham trails with rich historical facts delivered by the guide, into the Baldy Gold Mine, Bill Spargo's hut and Derrick's Hut.
