How long have you lived in the area?

Six years.

What do you do for a living?

I work at Baby Rove and Co.

How did you get into that?

When Target left there was nothing in town to buy anything for the kids. Having two of my own, I said to Mum that I really wanted to open up a baby shop to have a place to run down and grab some things if it's needed. And Mum said she would help me out and do it with me. So that's how we started.

What do you like about the area?

I was from Shepparton, and coming here it's a very clean, nice place to live in. Now that I have kids I like that it's a really nice, safe place for them to grow up.

Where would you take visitors to showcase the area?

It depends who it is, but if some of my friends have come to visit with their kids, or because I have kids, we got out to the deer farm. If it’s warmer weather we’ll go for a drive down to Whalleys Lane, have a barbecue and a bit of a swim.

Is there anything you would change about the area?

I definitely think there needs to be a little bit more for kids, and it needs more shopping around, like more stores and stuff like that. Maybe another restaurant.
