How long have you lived in the area?

I have been here 36 years, coming from Melbourne, my wife Helen and I ran the Alamar Court Motel, and I worked for Falls Creek Coach Service.

What do you like about living here?

The people in the community, the mountains and rivers, there is so much to like about the area.

Would you like to see any changes or additions?

No, it's perfect the way it is.

What do you do with your time , your hobbies and interests?

I am a member of the Men's Shed, the Historical Society, a mentor to the ' L to P ' for young people, helping them to get their driving hours up, it's an Alpine Shire initiative. I like cycling, particularly in this beautiful valley.

Where would you take visitors to showcase the area?

Once being a driver for the coach service, I took tours up to the high country, the huts were always a very popular site. People are very interested in the rich history of the area, and the amazing views.
