Max reflects on his lucky life

KOREAN War veteran and ex-police officer with the Royal Papua and New Guinea Constabulary (RPNGC), Max Hayes, said he counts himself lucky to have made it to the age of 92.

Mr Hayes, who has been a resident at Hawthorn Village in Bright for just over a year, said there have been many dangerous moments during his careers that left him lucky to be alive.
