What do you do for a living?
I work in education support at Porepunkah Primary School.
How did you get into that?
I was welfare trained many years ago, then we moved to the area and started at Porepunkah seven years ago.
What are your hobbies and interests?
Latest Stories
Mostly going up to the pines, running, skiing at Lake Buffalo or on Hotham. In winter we go to Hotham most weekends.
What do you like about the area?
What's not to like? I like everything, the hills, the mountains, the snow, the scenery. Everywhere you look there's something nice to look at. It's a beautiful area.
Where would you take visitors to showcase the area?
Depending on the season, Hotham, probably up to Ladies Bath. Probably the restaurants in the area as well. I'd take them on hikes, we might do Feathertop or something like that.
Is there anything you would change about the area?
Probably not. People say 'oh the tourists are coming in', but it's because of the tourists that we've got all the fantastic restaurants and the nice things about the town. We're very happy living here.
