What are your hobbies and interests?
I have quite diverse interests in the creative field. I love anything to do with music, and I'm particularly passionate about swing dancing. My latest creative passion is junk journaling – creating journals for art out of junk you find around the house, like papers, envelopes, junk mail that comes in your letterbox, recycling, stuff like that.

I'm studying full time doing a Master's in Counseling. I've just started on my first trimester.
What do you like about the area?
I love the climate. Recently I moved down from Queensland, and I couldn't stand the humidity. I'm a Victorian and it's nice to be back in Victoria. The beauty of the area – the mountains, and the whole terrain around here is just beautiful. The community is really friendly, they seem to welcome people with open arms.
Where would you take visitors coming here?
We have taken people out to Lake Buffalo and enjoyed some time out there. Generally we'll do a drive up to Bright, Harrietville and Wandiligong. We always take our visitors to somewhere local to eat or drink like Cafe Fez, Billy Buttons or Cafe Chulo up the road. There's plenty of places to see and lots to do.
Is there anything you would change about the area?
We've had a few encounters here with people who are homeless and struggling to find support in Myrtleford. If I had a magic wand, it'd be nice to have some resources to be able to point them to somewhere here in the local community.
