THE heritage listed Mount Buffalo Chalet will be transformed into an outdoor education centre after a new contract was signed by state owners Parks Victoria and new developers, Belgravia Group last Wednesday.
The 40-year lease will see the 1901 chalet restored and reimagined as a facility to provide a unique outdoor education experience for school students.
