I WRITE in reference to the article 'Alpine Health CEO clears up misconceptions around hospitals'.
In his broad ranging article in the Alpine Observer/Myrtleford Times (25 November), the new CEO of Alpine Health said, “It’s hard to change the community’s expectation of the service they’ve always had. We get a lot of noise about this from time to time but largely the community understands what the service is but the expectation of emergency care comes from out of town.”
By “noise” is he referring to legitimate questions about the service?
