Wonnangatta: Place of isolation and mystery

ONCE country occupied by graziers, croppers and horse breeders, the Wonnangatta Valley has quietly passed into obscurity and recaptured its original appearance once only known to the Indigenous inhabitants of the high country.

Today, only the occasional visits of campers in 4-wheel drive vehicles and bush walkers disturb the tranquillity of the area.
