Still some activities available for Seniors Festival

AS October comes to an end, so too does the Victorian Seniors Festival.

However, there are still several activities and events available in the Alpine Shire before the end of the month.

Tomorrow there is an Intergenerational Story Time session at the Myrtleford Library, combining the Seniors Festival celebrations with Children's Week.

Story Time For All is a free event, commencing at 11am and includes a special performance from Gravy the Dog.

The Mount Beauty Neighbourhood Centre is hosting a Pizza Lunch this Friday, October 25, from 12pm to 1:30pm.

Either $15 takeaway or $20 dine-in pizzas are available, with a complimentary beverage - bookings essential on (03) 5754 1166.

Myrtleford's Club Savoy will be hosting a fundraiser for the University of the Third Age (U3A) this Sunday, October 27.

The Community Night fundraiser is $40 per person and aims to continue U3As work to connect Victorian seniors with their local community and make the most out of their retirement.

The event will be held at Club Savoy and for more details and bookings contact Jan Mock via: u3amyrtleford@gmail.com

The last three days of October will see a free sausage sizzle across the Alpine Shire.
