Forecasted heavy storms postpone ag expo

ALPINE Shire Council's 'A Little Bit of Relief' agricultural expo, originally scheduled for last Friday, was postponed due to a forecast of severe storms and heavy rain.

The event will now take place on Friday, November 29 at Dederang Recreation Reserve.

Running from 10am until 3pm, the expo will offer the same exciting line-up of agricultural industry services, farm safety demonstrations, and business and health support, along with a variety of food stalls available onsite.

The event is free to attend, and no registrations are required.

Council said it looks forward to welcoming the community for a great day of learning and support for the agricultural sector.

The event is supported by Emergency Recovery Victoria and the Australian Government in response to the October 2022 flood and landslip.
