THE location of a new water pumping station to meet the growing domestic water needs of Mount Beauty will be the hot topic of discussion between community members and North East Water (NEW) next week.
Almost 1000 residents last month signed a petition calling for the location to change from the proposed east bank of the Kiewa River, downstream of the pondage spillway on Embankment Drive.
