MOUNT Beauty local Meg Crebbin is a care advocate, volunteers with the Red Cross and the Mount Beauty Community Band, won a volunteer award last year and does volunteer tutoring on the side – but she remains self–effacing about her work.

"I feel my contribution is on a fairly small scale," she said.
