HARRIETVILLE residents Doug and Joan Humphries reckon it's not only an eyesore, but could well pose a danger to vehicular traffic on the Great Alpine Road entering and exiting Harrietville.
The couple say recent pruning of a number of large trees adjoining the Great Alpine Road and rail trail at the town's entrance is the most severe they've seen in the past 30 years.
