MYRTLEFORD lawn bowler Mary Paton was part of a historic moment of state bowls when she and the Victorian senior women’s squad took out the Nationals up at Club Tweed from October 12-15.
Paton helped the Big V to a third consecutive Nationals title, finishing top of the pops with six wins and only one loss in the round robin format.
No other state side had ever won Nationals three years in a row.
