BRIGHT’S town centre is set to see a speed limit reduction as part of planned safety improvements when Alpine Shire Council convenes next Tuesday.

As part of planned safety improvements works on Gavan Street, council officers, in conjunction with Regional Roads Victoria, are proposing to reduce speed limit in Bright’s CBD by 10km per hour.

Council hope to decide on the proposed speed limit reduction which will see the town centre reduced from 50km per hour to 40km per hour.
