Beauty Rotary changes hands

THE Rotary Club of Mount Beauty held their annual changeover night on Monday, with Mark Lucey handing over the presidency to Maria Pantling.

Mrs Pantling, a former primary school teacher, moved permanently to the Kiewa Valley with her late husband Ernie in 1997, though they hadn’t missed a season at Falls Creek since 1975.

Her husband became involved with the Rotary in 1997 and became the president in 2009.
