Coaches support proposed oval

MYRTLEFORD football coaches have voiced their support for football legend Bob McNamara’s proposal for a second oval at McNamara Reserve this week.

The proposal was lodged with Alpine Shire Council two three weeks ago by Mr McNamara, who is the president of the RC McNamara Reserve committee of management, who argued that all junior sport should be integrated with their senior sides.

Myrtleford Football Junior Club president Greg Doodewaard said he thinks a second oval at the reserve would be “awesome”.
