The fight continues for second ground

PLEASE LISTEN TO US: Bright’s junior sporting community plea with Alpine Shire Council to provide a safer ground for children to play ball sports and run on.

FRUSTATED members of Bright’s sporting population have renewed their calls for the secondary ground at Pioneer Park to be levelled, amid fresh safety concerns.

The multipurpose ground is utilised by various groups across the shire with many of them advocating for the project for more than three years.

The proposed project construction is currently in Alpine Shire Council’s pipeline for 2026-2030 and Bright Junior Football Club president Kellie Gray said it’s not soon enough.
