A BATTING masterclass from skipper Dan Saville and veteran bladesman Greg McLennan catapulted Mt Beauty to a crushing nine-wicket victory over Howlong at Mt Beauty on Saturday.

Chasing down the Spiders’ first innings total of 5/166, Saville smashed an unbeaten 84 while McLennan contributed 53 as the Power reached the total for the loss of just one wicket with nine overs to spare.

Davison Mbindi reached 24 to partner with Saville as the winning runs were reached.
