YOU’D think no good could possibly come of cancer, but Michelle Casey of Bright is bucking that trend.

The beauty therapist, who manages her salon CheekyBits Boutique, this year became a skin cancer patient for the second time, but has used her ordeal to raise awareness and encourage people to get suspicious moles checked by a doctor.Michelle, 44, and a mother of three, first had to deal with melanoma at 24 when a mole on her shin gave her a gut feeling she just couldn’t ignore.

She insisted the mole be removed, and luckily so because it later turned out it was a cancerous melanoma.
