Work begins on Myrtleford Show revamp

THE first major step in the lead up to next month’s 72nd annual Myrtleford Show was last week instigated with upgrades to the Alf Richardson Pavilion finally underway.

State government and council grants allowed the show’s committee to raise enough funds to have the concrete flooring resurfaced for the first time in over 50 years.

Committee secretary Lis Meehan said it was fitting to upgrade the pavilion this year to honour Mr Richardson who passed away earlier this year.
