Savoy reserves make history

MYRTLEFORD Savoy’s reserves men side is revelling in its history-making win on Saturday which saw them claim their first league title in 51 years.

The 1-0 win over Albury United was the Savoys 16th win of the season and with the boys in blue being the best side in the reserves competition for the best part of the season, a delighted co-coach Jason Vescio said the league title has been a long time coming.

“It is absolutely awesome – there are no words to describe how good it actually feels,” Vescio said.
