MYRTLEFORD Savoy’s perfect start to the season has continued after passing its biggest test yet, downing Albury United 3-1 at Jelbart Park on Sunday.

In a hard-fought match, Savoy controlled the first half and went ahead early off a Remell Davis penalty that saw Conner Caponecchia convert.

The blues held the ascendancy and went into the half-time break 1-0 up.
