Tilley keen to hear thoughts

KIEWA Valley’s new State Government representative is keen to hear what the communities have to say.

Bill Tilley (MLA, Benambra) won the election comfortably late last month and the recent boundary redistribution of the Benambra electorate now includes Mt Beauty, Tawonga, Dederang and surrounding towns.

On winning the state election for a third time, Mr Tilley said it was an enormous privilege and honor to be given further opportunity to continue on and represent the interests and insights of the area.

“I do not and have never taken for granted the high responsibilities that come with this great honor,” he said.

“In a practical sense I am additionally enthusiastic with the opportunity to now also represent the added communities after the redistributed boundaries that now officially extend to include Tawonga, Mt Beauty, Falls Creek and their surrounds.”

Mr Tilley said a professional working relationship had already begun with residents, businesses and community groups in Mt Beauty, Tawonga and Dederang.
