Planting bee a team effort

HELPING HANDS: (above, from left) St Mary’s Primary School teacher Helen Reilly with Abigail Aldridge-Campbell from Mountain View Children’s Centre, Oscar DeFazio from St Mary’s Primary School, Isabelle Morrison from Mountain View Children’s Centre and Luca Bonacci from St Mary’s Primary School.

MOUNTAIN View Children’s centre was a hive of activity on Friday, with a planting bee taking place at the centre.

The plantings were part of the second stage of the centre’s Blue Sky project, a five year plan to redevelop the centre that was put together by parents and educators.

The project has also seen much involvement from the local community, including the Men’s Shed, Myrtleford Landcare, St Mary’s Primary School, and assistance from Vic Alps Nursery.
