MYRTLEFORD has re-signed its on-field leaders for the 2015 Ovens and Murray Football League season.
Morris Medal winner Kristan Height heads the list, signing with the Alpine Saints for a third season.
He is joined by club captain Matt Dussin and defender Riley O’Shea as players to commit early to the club’s push for a return to O&M finals.
Coach Leigh Corcoran, who was reappointed with co-coach Brad Murray in June, said Height was vital to the club’s plans for September action.
“It goes without saying, Kristan’s season has been awesome and his level of performance has helped lift the side,” he said.
“Being able to re-sign him early was a good sign for the club and we’re rapt to be able to secure his services for a third year.
“His VFL and AFL experience brings a level of professionalism and guidance that is important to the development of our younger players.”
