MYRTLEFORD co-coach Matt Park has added the Savoys’ senior best and fairest to his list of accolades in 2016.
As expected the 28 year-old took out the club’s top honour after winning the league’s Star Player award and Golden Boot earlier this month.
Park beat team captain and 2015 winner Brenton Cook by four votes in the count at Club Savoy on Saturday night.
Park also picked up the Players Player award after an outstanding season in which he confirmed himself as the competition’s premier player.
While Park missed out on playing in the Savoys’ first AWFA title, because of an ankle injury suffered in the quarter final win over Melrose, he was influential in helping his side get to that stage.
For the Savoy senior women captain Katherine Sylwestrzak was voted the team’s best ahead of joint runners-up Steph Harris and Emma Buckingham.
