Netballers aim to finish strong

Myrtleford Saints netballers are aiming to finish the season on a positive note.

MYRTLEFORD will look to finish the year on a high in Ovens and Murray A grade netball.

The Saints come up against Wodonga Raiders and Corowa Rutherglen in the last two weeks of the season, teams outside the top five.

While the Raiders (seventh) and the Roos (eighth) sit comfortably above Myrtleford (tenth) on the ladder coach Anndrea Grant says her side is a good chance to add to their one win.

“We’ll definitely be aiming to finish off with two wins,” she said.

“Both teams are ones I think we can beat, we have definitely improved since the last time we played them.

“I’ve noticed Raiders have been up and down a bit of late so hopefully we can get over them this week.”
