Organisers are talking up the silver anniversary of the Bright Iconic Rod Run with most accommodation houses in the town and as far away as Myrtleford close to full.

Bright Rod and Kustom Club committee member Mick Dealy said after a successful Rod Run last year the program for the 25th edition would be much the same.

“We haven’t changed too much, we are pretty happy with the way things have gone the last couple of years,” he said.

“We had a sensational event last year with more cars than the year before and we expect numbers to be the same, about 450-500.

“Basic conversation from most accommodation places is that they are either full or very close to, while I have heard in Myrtleford that a lot of accommodation there is occupied too.
